Marcel Altendeitering

Dr.-Ing. Marcel Altendeitering is head of department Mobility & Smart Cities at the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering ISST. He leads several projects concerned with realizing dataspaces and data trusts in the mobility and smart city domains.

Stefaan Verhulst

Stefaan Verhulst is the Co-Founder of The GovLab (in New York City) and The Data Tank (in Brussels). He is also a Research Professor at the Tandon School of Engineering at New York University, and Editor-in-Chief of Data & Policy, an open-access journal by Cambridge University Press; the research director of the MacArthur Research Network on Opening Governance; Chair of the Data for Children Collaborative with Unicef; and a member of the High-Level Expert Group to the European Commission on Business-to-Government Data Sharing. 

Hiroki Habuka

Hiroki Habuka is a Research Professor at the Graduate School of Law, Kyoto University, as well as a Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo, and the CEO of Smart Governance. He led several projects on digital governance when he worked for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, which covered AI governance, privacy protection, data security, and digital platform regulations. In 2020, he was selected by the the Global Future Councils of the World Economic Forum as one of the World’s 50 Most Influential People Revolutionising Government (Agile 50).

Erica Dubach Spiegler

Erica Dubach is a technologist specializing in digital transformation and strategy, business model innovation and interoperability. She works in the digital transformation team of the federal administration (BK-DTI) and leads the Transformation and Interoperability unit as the deputy of the delegate for digital transformation. She joined the federal government in 2021 after working on different non-executive boards, leading innovation projects and consulting in the digital strategy domain. Erica Dubach studied Computer Science in the USA and holds a PhD in Information Management from ETH.

Cédric Moullet

Cédric Moullet is Vice Director of the Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture, in charge of digital transformation in the agri-food sector. He holds a master's degree in geoinformatics and an eMBA in change management.  Previously, he was responsible for Switzerland’s federal geodata infrastructure, the development of the Swisscovid app and the Covid certificate app, as well as vice-director of the Federal Office of Information Technology and Telecommunications.

Thomas Schneider

Thomas Schneider is Ambassador and Director of International Affairs at the Swiss Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) in the Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communications (DETEC). He is a long-standing expert in digital governance and in the governance of the information and knowledge society and artificial intelligence. He is leading the Swiss delegation in various key international fora in these fields.
